Masu wins CPF 10/1

Private, Reportage

It has been a while, but for sake of completeness and chronology of this blog, I want to mention the award I recently got for the reportage about Masu. The story is not finished and I hope will manage to complete it till the end of summer this year.

Anyhow, read more about the Award at their (german) Homepage.

berlinerzeitung-1

Starting next monday I will begin an intership at the Berliner Zeitung in… well, in Berlin. I am not sure how tight my schedule will be and how often I will be able to update my blog. But posting some pictures now and then shouldnt be to much of a problem. We´ll see.

Anyhow, this means that I cant continue to work on the story about Masu right now. I hope I will get the chance to finish it when i come back in 6 months.

What a storyboard shouldnt look like

Private, Reportage

So the other day a friend of mine and me had to do a homework-assignment for university, which was basicaly to shoot our way from home to school… sounds dull? True.

We tried to make the best of it but i would lie if i say that we had fun. Anyway, you can se what we came up with below. The images on the left are from me and the ones on the right are from Andy. And you should ever come in the unconfortable situation of doing something like this, keep in mind that vertical images are not used in a storyboard… who would have thought?
