Castor 2008

Back in autumn of 2008 I headed out with some friends to shoot the Castor-Transport which was coming from La Hague (france) all the way to Gorleben (germany).

One could probably assume that it was pretty exciting with all the police runing around, shouting and trying to catch the demonstrators who were blocking the railway… But to be honest, it was kinda dissapointing. I had the impression that the people were not fighting for their rights or their belive, but only for the hell of it. Pretty much like the 1. May in Berlin.
